And I'm all, "No, you don't understand Gwyn, back where I come from these places only put on a facade, they're all fifties up front, but the back of the place is just a regular building."

So we walk in, and we don't know what to do, just shuffle around until the waitress tells us to sit anywhere. It's not that crowded, but also not dead either, like two tables were already seated when we came in, and a couple more showed up after we sat down.
But yeah, I'll definitely be coming back here, good for a quick bite, or a meal out with friends.
Food was delicious was seated quickly could make the bathroom a little more cleaned than it was. Drafty trash on the floor an the toilet looked like it hadn’t been wiped down for a while. Overall I give it 2 stars
Food is amazing.
Best of all, they give the ladies flowers just before you leave. Where else does that happen. Perfect touch!

Open 24 hours, just off the Interstate or a great stop on many good motorcycle loops, this is the place to refuel your ride or fill your belly. Good burgers, crispy fries, and fountain Coke that almost tastes like I remember from the old days. Counter service, booths, and a couple of tables.
So me and Gwyn, we're just leaving a bowling party, and she was like "I'm hungry," and we were like what places are open at one AM? We listed a couple cause it was a Saturday night, but in the valley we also knew there would be a long line, so we took a chance and drove down here to Whately Diner, and just as we were stepping out of the car I was like, "whoa, this is an actual fifties dinner."
Great pit stop diner. Food is decent. Staff is nice. They have plenty of room for trucks, fuel and shower.
So anyway, we order breakfast because this place is open twenty four hours and why not? (The left overs were also great the morning after). The food was great, and greasy, exactly what you expect from a diner, and we also got coffee, I got a hot, and Gwyn of course got cold because she's some kind of monster.
We sat in the back corner next to a mirror, and I could see all the nice booths and behind the counter. And there were old juke box in every booth that other customers used as conversation topics, but there was a new jukebox by the door that actually played music, and when no one paid for a song, there just wasn't any music playing, and that was a mind blowing concept.
